Safe Schools NC's student organizing program works to strengthen and expand gay straight alliances across NC by providing opportunities for students to network, share ideas, and receive leadership training.
There are currently four GSA regional networks in our state- one in Greensboro, one in Winston-Salem, one in Charlotte and one in the Triangle. Safe Schools NC works with our partner organizations to provide staffing, resources, and funding to these regional networks so that students have the opportunity to network and learn about best practices and programs available to keep GSAs strong and functional.
